Two different size hard dirve in one qnap nas? - Enquiries - 02-28-2020 Greetings, I plan to buy QNAP TS-253D with two hard drives, Ironwolf 6TB and WD red 14TB. So I want to have the entire 6TB of ironwolf to be redundant with 6TB (out of 14TB) of WD red, while the rest of WD red to be in used as single storage for non critical data. Is that possible? Thanks in advance, Nagy. Two different size hard dirve in one qnap nas? - ed - 01-27-2021 This is a 2-bay model, but you can create two separate volumes for one and another HDD. You can then set up a backup for the first drive to a second or use an external drive to do so.I hope this helps. |
