Basic NAS Guide - Enquiries - 03-08-2025
I am considering a Synology DS1522+ as my very first NAS and am looking for a simple/idiot's guide book to setting up a NAS before I make the purchase. Is there such a book anywhere?
I've looked at the NASCompares videos which explain HOW to setup but need to know pros and cons before making decisions e.g. deciding how to divide storage space, any pitfalls using iSCSI, can sizes of LUNs and iSCSI be changed without deleting the data etc.
